Dr Mary Ann Augustin (AUS)

Dr Mary Ann Augustin is an internationally renowned scientist who has published widely and holds numerous patents. She held academic appointments at various universities prior to joining CSIRO and was a Professorial Fellow at Monash University’s School of Chemistry while on secondment from CSIRO (2005-2007). She is known especially for her scientific research and industry translation with impact across various industries including dairy, edible oil and microencapsulated functional ingredients. She has worked collaboratively with others in diverse disciplines including nutrition, bio-spectroscopy and food engineering, as well as business development to deliver high-quality science and translate outcomes with significant impact in industry. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Technology and Engineering.
